I create with and for the storytellers, the caretakers of the earth, and the builders of community.

If your work falls into any of these realms, let's join forces to build something meaningful.

I approach design as a form of organizational stewardship—balancing high-fidelity creative execution with operational strategy. Whether scaling an internal creative team or architecting your next major campaign launch, I deliver end-to-end design across the entire media ecosystem:

  • Digital Platforms: Web graphics, social media assets, and digital marketing kits.

  • Motion & Broadcast: On-air graphics, video overlays, kinetic typography, animation, and dynamic promotional content.

  • Print & Editorial: Multi-page publications, annual reports, typography systems, vector illustrations, and physical marketing collateral.

  • Spatial & Environmental: Large-scale fabrications, event branding, structural wayfinding, signage, and immersive physical experiences.

A long time ago, I used to want to be a writer. Being attracted to the scene of it all, such as coteries, libraries, smoky poetry readings, and dusty manuscripts, I started working at a small press learning the ropes as a publishing assistant. We published titles from Alan Watts and Ted Nelson. It was here I learned computer arts and desktop publishing.

Back then I was writing poetry and dreamed one day I would write a novel. To this day, I still have a collection of Table of Contents pages with very funny chapter titles and no written chapters to accompany them. Idea: I will publish them here as experimental poetry.

I attended university at the time to become a professional writer, but found out that I was not ready for anything that looked like discipline. I also had a long way to go yet on a healing journey that I never knew was coming for me.

From publishing I moved into the LGBTQ+ nightclub scene making club-kid type parties and events. This took me into the underground, social movements, and experimental and experiential arts. In these informative years I surrounded myself with multiple streams of knowledge that fed my perspectives and interests.

Over the years I have completed thousands of freelance art and design gigs. Eventually, in midlife I decided to go back to school and learn more about my love and work in computers. There I met professors and students who shared my passions. Another iteration of me was born.

Around that time an huge opportunity for healing presented itself to me and I took it. This part of my life is a novel in itself, so I will leave it that. But, it was after this time that my alter ego Sky was born: Sky because she could not be contained. Sky because she didn’t care. Sky because she could get really moody and wild or become very deep and peaceful. Sky because she was cosmic. Sky because she was/was not the root of the matter.

I needed to bring this all together and integrate it—to take steps to make my life make sense and offer a contribution to other, and always the main drive has remained: explore more. This is called “Sky2Urth” in my own cosmology. You probably consider this story a branding story. I guess it is in the way as I continue to try to make all of my multidimensional worlds work together inside a simple and harmonious life.

As you can see I am just a person that has taken a journey that is a bit bohemian. Character backstories aside, Sky2Urth Studio is my creative testbed. Here, I experiment with complex digital arts and emerging technologies.

My marketing design work is deeply rooted in ecosystems, creating the visual threads that connect missions, brands, and community. As a strategic partner, I shape impactful visual identities, drive public engagement, and practice smart stewardship. I bring a 360-degree approach to creative solutions—fusing multidisciplinary insights with intentional, scalable design across all mediums.

My personal art is working within a Jungian context and influenced by many computer artists along the way. I also have an entire body of work that is not computer art such as earthworks, paintings and drawings, and sculptures.

I now working as a public media professional, which the idealist in me loves. I promote the arts, science, and education.

I am open to career opportunities, limited freelance gigs, and commissions and licensing.
