Public Media Awards Honoree:
Marketing and Communications ~ Annual Report
The Challenge:
Every year, public media stations face the massive logistical and financial burden of printing and distributing comprehensive Annual Reports to stakeholders and donors. For the FY2025 Impact Report, the objective was twofold: completely eliminate the overhead of traditional physical printing while designing a premium, highly accessible digital destination to host the report online. The core obstacle was ensuring that moving away from a physical book would not diminish the perceived prestige of the document, weaken complex data presentations, or cause a drop in community engagement.
The Integrated Solution:
Stepping in as the solo editor and designer, I managed the full lifecycle of this organizational pivot. I translated our annual metrics into a beautiful digital layout, designing clear content hierarchies that honored our strict brand governance.
Concurrently, I structured a clean, dedicated web interface on our station site to serve as a frictionless home for the interactive assets. By eliminating the printing pipeline entirely, I safeguarded vital station funding while expanding our overall public reach. This holistic integration of editorial layout, web positioning, and data architecture successfully modernized our annual reporting process, earning a national designation as a 2026
